Mar. 28th, 2008 02:44 pmI'm leaving work in 15 min, thank goodness. Today has been hella slow. I need to go home, shower and wash my hair, redress, and then get in a hopefully already packed car and drive to Columbia. I suppose I could shower at the campsite tomorrow; there is electricity of some kind so I might be able to use my blow dryer. And, no, I wouldn't usually care about showering or drying my hair while comping, but we're camping in Cola for the Carolina Cup. And while my preCup grooming levels have fallen off considerably (no pedicure or new shoes this year) it would be nice to have clean hair. So if I leave at 3 and get home by 315/320, I should be ready to go by 345, or 4 with time to spend with the baby first. So we should be in Cola by 530 and setting up the tent by 6. Cool.
We have to get D batteries and the food for the Cup, which is just at this point, fruit, hummus and something for dessert.
I have a list. Or I'd be worried. At least there's not much to pack these days--camping stuff (tent, lantern, sleeping stuff, toilet paper), food (food in cooler), cup clothes, sleep clothes, and some toys and books for the baby. I'll wear the same thing on Sunday I'm wearing today, so that's easy.
Hopefully, the nice weather will hold a bit longer than expected and we'll be warm out on the racetrack.
