Whew!

References have been requested.
GRE has been scheduled. (for Sat, yikes!)
Transcript request forms have been printed and filled out.
Financial Aid form has been filled out and submitted to government.

Need to:
Get GRE study book.
Write checks and mail transcript request forms.
Write statement of purpose.
Fill out application once I have names of recommendation writers.

With respect to the GREs, definitely go for those study books. You can do *much* better if you practice for that thing. Practice has more influence on your score than "intelligence" - though I'm sure you've got that going for you, too. And for the verbal score, don't underestimate the value of all those trashy romances you've read. 15 years of those books and my verbal score miraculously became much higher than my math score. Fascinating.
