charlottezwebNot a bad weekend. Friday work closed early so I got to leave and start the weekend at 3pm. Picked up the baby, went home, watched some new scholastic dvds, put the baby to bed and watched harry potter until A got home from work abt 1am. Saturday, I took the baby to PACT where the topic was discipline this week. Hmm. Didn't go that well this week. During the first 1/2 hr when the the parents and the kids play together and then have circle time, 3/4 of the kids were crazy--crying, tantrums, etc, including royce. They all seemed fine when we collected them afterwards though. The group meeting itself was a bit rough. I didn't really agree with the handouts on discipline and was irritated with some of the discipline methods suggested by my fellow parents. The oldest kid is just over 2.5. Chill out.
After PACT, we picked up my mom and went to the mall for the education fair, which was a waste of gas. Then it was time for a nap so we could rest before R and A's engagement party. The baby stayed with my mom and we went off way down hwy 17. The house was beautiful. It was v. nice to see friends I hadn't seen in a long time and I spent a long time talking to AM who is abt 6 months pregnant. I also managed to insult the hostess accidentally talking abt the really weird artichoke candles she'd made.
Sunday, we cleaned and went grocery shopping and napped some more. The house looks nice which will last another day or two and the baby seems to be over his cold. not bad at all.
