charlottezwebThis week has kindof been a bust with everyone having colds. The baby was sick enough that we skipped all his activities from his PACT class to the Children's Museum. Acey took him out a bit early a few days ago and he ended up with a cough so we've been staying in and trying to get better. Today, he has just a touch of a cough, but we're still bailing on Weds dinner and nursery. He might be ok to go to storytime tomorrow though.
Finances are better with the new job, although there's always something--Acey's filling fell out on Monday and we still owe the dentist $500 from the last visit (we are paying it off on a plan and it should be done this month). In addition, I spilled a glass of water on my laptop which may cost up to 1K to fix. Yikes. At least the data's still there--the only thing I really care about is iphoto--just getting those pics off. It's not the worst disaster though, picturewise, I did back up from the baby's birth through last July, and Xmas pics were with my MIL's camera, so she should still have those. Royce's BD pics were analog and we have those, so just 4 months gone. And the photo books I made. And the summary, outline and 1st chapter of my book.
We went to see the Indigo Girls concert last Saturday and it was awesome. A v. small concert space so not the full band, but a lovely sound. Beforehand we tried a new pizzeria, supposedly v. authentic, that allowed not substitutions or changes on their pizzas. Mmmmmmmmmm. Also tried a 1/2 order of the pasta with peas and a gorgonzola cream sauce. Excellent and used a v. thick spaghetti I hadn't tried before. Looked for in the grocery store the next day but couldn't find it.
Sunday was grocery shopping but not much else and this week has been pretty slow too. I was hoping to go see the Vagina Monologues on Friday, but Acey has to work. Sat we have PACT, the education/activity/summer camp fair and then an engagement party for which I still have not found a sitter.
