So a couple of people had posted this (like Serene) and after I finally went to read it, I decided to post it also. As I said in a comment in Serene's journal, I liked Barack Obama before but here he publicly says he loves us, instead of mocking SC for its many problems and tarnished image; he doesn't pander to the strong religious right in the upstate; he uses the state motto in his speech. He has my vote.
