Nov. 17th, 2007 12:21 amThe last few weeks have been extremely busy but so worth it. We are three quarters of the way moved in to our new apartment. Have I mentioned how incredibly awesome it is? The new place is on Montagu St, right downtown in the college and within walking distance to just about everything except a movie theater. The apartment itself is one half of the ground level of a double house, so there are 6 apartments total. We've met almost all of our fellow building dwellers and they all seem quite nice. (The woman on the top left came down a week ago to let us know she was having a party that Fri night so if they made to much noise we should come knock on the door or call them. It was going to be a huge party, she said. Thirty kids from the college glee club. Having been in the glee club myself, I didn't snort, but the most rowdy they got was during a drunken singalong at 11pm. She also apologized for coming over so late--it was 730pm. We are the oldest people in the building.)
We're going to buy dressers (shelving) and cheap bookshelves this next week so we can finish unpacking. Yay. And we've already hung some pics (we have a family wall) and given away the packing boxes-we're making a commitment to the place.

Good luck and lots of hugs.

Hugs to you too! :)
