charlottezweb1. Mmmm, dinner at Five Loaves with hkbear last night. Gnocci w/goat cheese sauce and balsamic vinegar. Warm ham and brie sandwich with green tomato jam and vinegar slaw. Not so good, the salad w/warm potatos and marinated mushrooms. Conversation was lovely and I got some good ideas for budgeting.
2. I may be allergic to peanuts. Not horrifyingly allergic but still. Not what I wanted to realize. I'm sure I won't even notice with the 8 billion other things I'm allergic to. (hand, stapler, forehead)
3. We're going over to see the cousins today--A's bad cousin Bubba lives down the road with his wife and three kids. Bad, bad kids, according to neighborhood gossip. We'll see. One of the is just about Royce's age--it'd be nice for him to have a playmate.
4. Almost all of my half.com haul came in yesterday--I'm reading two books at once, accidentally. Acey's reading Kitchen Confidential, which he says has dashed his dreams of opening a restaurant. I've got two Sam Llewellyn's I haven't read. (like Dick Francis, but boats instead of horses)
5. I need to wash dished and sweep today and I don't want to do either. I wish I could trade housekeeping with someone. I'd be happy to wash their dishes if they'd do ours.

Date: 2007-09-13 03:27 pm (UTC)Inn't that funny? I cleaned houses for years as summer work and never minded a bit whatever mess was left for me (ok, the full fridge that had been unplugged for 2 weeks was a bit much), but I just hate cleaning my own house. Ughhhh. Why is that, anyway?
