1. The weekend was lovely. The weather in NC was nice and cool and my Uncle Jim was as endearingly crochety as ever. He's very bitter about some family drama happening right now but also sent us home with 8 dozen cookies and a ham.
2. The family picture wall at my grandparents' (wher Jim is) has ben taken down--it was weird to see it bare and weirder to take the pictures of my branch home with me.
3. We had some very tasty meals, including chicken pot pie, creamed spinach, and bbq. MMMMMMMM! I was going to make dinner one night but jim had already picked up food for us. Maybe next time.
4. I got to watch the last season's CSI finale--wow, can't wait for the new season to begin.
5. I talked to my niece who just had a baby a few times over the weekend--she seems to be doing very well and I'm packing up a box to send out there.

Heh. Actually, Acey just told me that we were wrong, it's a smoked turkey breast (or some part).

Hmm, turkey is considerably less interesting.

No dinner this week. May have to push it to one Wednesday a month with the crazy schedules. Tomorrow I'm doing Happy Hour with J and possibly Shiflet. Thurs is open right now. Friday I'm off to G'vegas.
