Hate them. With a fiery passion. That normally involves lots of swearing.

It became clear at the end of last week that there were fraudulent charges on our account totaling abt $1500 over the last month. I told my family, with whom I share account access, and went on vacation on Thurs. On Fri, they went down to the bank to report the problem. They arrange to have the card cancelled on Mon and pay for over night replacement.

Mon, the banker calls to check with us, we are on our way to the ATM where we make one last withdrawal and the card is cancelled a few minutes later around 1115am. Great.

The new card doesn't show up until today--Mon to Thurs is not overnight. The pin number has been sent separately so the card is useless right now. The last ATM withdrawal we made was debited twice from our account and the money has not been credited to our accnt even though I reported it two days ago.

Oh, and they're not entirely sure that we're going to get the money stolen from our accnt back.

Hate them so much.

Crappamundo. Sympathies.

I'd suggest contacting the bank manager once you feel able to have a civil but direct conversation with them.

Bullshit. WTF? I thought that by LAW they are required to credit you for all but $50 of any fraudulent use.

And -- that whole "next day ATM card" scam sux, C. I'm sorry.
