charlottezwebI have been so blah lately and mean to my husband it's not funny. *sigh*
Things have been fine though--and the baby is suddenly big enough to slide down the giant slide at the park. He loves it--the plastic makes his hair crazy with static though--it's inspired us to get him a baby-hawk for his next haircut. I was looking at photos from his 1st BD and marveling that it was almost time to plan his 2nd--he needs an outfit and theme and cupcakes. :) Other kids to come would be nice too, heh. But we'll be in Chas so there'll be lots of aunts and uncles at least. He's wearing a 2T and his new clothes from Grandma are adorable! Pics are coming--I've got through May '06 loaded into the online photo album.
I made a budget for the paycheck I got today--for once we know where all our money is going--there's even money budgeted for BD presents and an oil change. I divided up our tax refund that we should get in a few weeks also--it's paying a bunch of bills and we're taking $1000 for our emergency fund (yay). Thank you, all you Dave Ramsey fans!
Spring Break is coming up--we're supposed to go see my uncle in NC, yay, and meet Acey's mom in Disney World for her BD but now I'm not sure about that. It's going to be crazy busy, since it's a peak time, and tickets for a day or two are so expensive (4-10 days is really reasonable but less than that is insane), and she can't get there until Fri and she's be jet-lagged since she's coming from HI... just seems like maybe it's not the right time to go. Guess I'll have to talk to my husband about it.
Just found out that one of my friends has a playdate where she calls a sitter for the kids and she and the other moms go upstairs to smoke up. Now that's a date.

Rocking! Are they prepared for the descent? And do they know there'll be a baby? Are we staying Fri and Sat night? This might actually be fun this year. :) The space is awesome--right on the rail.
