Weekend Update

Whew! I'm back from SC but exhausted! It was very fun and very stressful at the same time and my phone has been off the charger and dead since Sat night so I can't call any of you to give the full update. But I am home and alive.

I spent far too much time with my relatives.

School was cancelled Thurs bc of nasty weather so we waited for the ice to melt aqnd took off down 75 for Chas. Went straight to Huger and chilled out--had very bad venison ham for dinner.

Fri I went out with my mom while A went fishing. We had a nice time--went for a long walk with the baby and the dogs and then out for lunch and shopping at the parisian's closing sale (was very restrained but scored a couple of good things). Fri night had dinner at CoCo's with H and JK--so amazingly good. Escargot and pate and a dish of brie baked in puff pastry topped with apples and fois gras....hanger steak w/shallot fondue...chocolate mousse...dear lord. It was lovely to see them and to eat good food. The grandparents watched the baby and it seemed to go well.

Sat more fishing for A with his dad and M while the baby and I went out with my step-MIL and my mom. Yikes. We had greek for lunch and then went back to parisians. My step-MIL can be difficult and I was a little stressed by the end. (She told me that she was worried I didn't like her bc I didn't ask to her to break her plans and come with us on Fri.)

Sat night we took the baby out with us to LaHa where they must have a new manager or cook--it was awesome and I didn't feel LaHaed afterwards. It was awesome to see our friends--after dinner we went back to MandMs to hang out some more--the baby nade it till about 10pm and then we had to get him home.

The drive back Sun was ok--the baby slept from Augusta to Rome. We got Wendy's for dinner and then collapsed 1/2way through the Dresden files.
