Baby went to bed far too late--curse those late naps.

Watched Click which was pretty cute and funny and then Little Miss Sunshine which had been described to me as a comedy. It was a comedy in the same sense that The Royal Tenebaums and Life Acquatic are comedies. For me, that means that it was not funny enough to outweigh the dark, depressing, dysfunctional bits.

Everyone was quite good--Steve Correll particularly--but I didn't enjoy them.

Oh, gosh, I wish I'd warned you. I haven't seen it, and am not going to -- because of a review I read that gave that away. *So* not a comedy.

Speaking of not a comedy -- I saw Pan's Labyrinth and Apocalypto last night. Both recommended!! Both subtitled. Neither comedic, but wow! Don't watch Pan's Labyrinth right before bed.

How do people find that funny? I just don't understand.

I really wanna see Apocaplypto--we might get a sitter and check it out. I called yesterday but S said you were gallivanting around town with the sprog with some AP playdate folks--hope you had fun. :)

I remember we had this discussion after we saw The Life Aquatic. I find humor in the "realness" of those movies. Life is kind of depressing and dysfunctional after all. You said you don't go to movies to see reality.

Come home and argue with me some more! ;)
