Catching up

We went home to Chas last Weds for a long weekend. The trip went fine and we booked a motel so we didn't stay with the inlaws. Saw SMIL Weds night and had BBQ (not bad) and then A went over to his dad's with the baby Thurs and I went shopping with my mom. And, oh, the shopping we did. Turns out that an outlet mall opened up in my town and we hit it hard--bags of clothes later, we headed homme, exhausted. That night we had dinner at M&Ms and hung out with friends we hadn't seen in far too long but had to leave early bc the baby was melting down.

Fri brought hunting for A and more shopping for me, this time with the baby--not nearly as much fun. Momma and I hit Target and the mall, and met her church group for supper at Ryan's (sarcastic mmm). It wold've been ok if momma had listened to me when I told her we'd have to leave early since we had the baby--after 45 min of baby-wrangling I got her to go.

Sat we hung out at M&Ms all day watching football but had to leave to go to SMIL's BD party. Ehh. Before we left Sun we met hkbear at The Boathouse for brunch--it wasn't bad but the service was awful.

The baby cried for three solid hours on the way home. *tears out hair*

SMIL's kidneys are failing--there's talk of us moving back to take care of her.
