I think you were 8 on our first trip to DisneyWorld. 'Cause I think I was 16. Senior year of high school. Or so I recall. Am I wrong?

Was that trip for your thing? Because we went once when I was little because Tom had a business trip--I think we took a train down and I know we took a cab that had funny little fold-out seats. Tom and I went to Epcott and he bought me a mickey bar waiting in line...

I thought I was younger than 8, but it's hard to remember.

I remember we went in middle school too because Melissa stole my signed program when I brought it to school--I was 11/12 then.

No, no -- that was the trip for Tom's business trip. When Mamma called her mother for the first time since she left her. I remember the jump seats, too.

Saying 8 makes me feel like I was a big kid, but that was only 3rd grade... Explains why I can remember it so well too. So does that meant that I was 10 in Britian?

And did we go again for Scottish dancing stuff when I was in Middle School?

Yes, because I had turned 18 by then. That was the summer between my sophomore and junior years in college. I had sex for the first time (and got knocked up, whoops!) in Scotland after I turned 18.

I can't quite place the Scottish dancing trip -- I remember being shocked that Mamma let me go "alone" (i.e., without her). Checking my highland dancing medals, I have Orlando, 1981. (3rd pl., Novice, Highland Fling.) Googling tells me that the Orlando games are usually held in January, so that must have been before my year in Scotland. I only have 1 medal in '81, and one in '82 (Red Springs), so that makes sense.

Maybe the trip where I went "alone" (with wosshername's mother driving, us riding in the back of the station wagon, singing along to the radio) was Jacksonville in '84. I can't imagine why I was shocked -- I was 20!

Hmm, okay so that DW in 3rd grade, again in 5th grade and then Scotland the summer between 5th and 6th grades. I don't actually remember much about the 2nd DW trip except momma telling me about the dancing--maybe we went afterwards? I really thought it was more like 7th grade.

I went again in 12th grade ('89), in '93 or '94 and then in 2004 and 2005.

In a couple of years, I'd like us to take the kidlets...
