Travel Plans

charlottezwebOkay, so the current plan has us spending T-Day with my uncle and any other random family that shows up, although I haven't checked with him about this, and I'm still mulling over T-Boink but don't think we'll have the budget; my BD and E and Am's wedding in Chas, and then Xmas in NYC (bc it's your turn!!!). New Year's is still up in the air, but maybe back home or to Vegas to see the MIL. I get 4 weeks off so I want to use it well.
My husband surprised me--he's an only child and has said that he doesn't really understand the sibling dynamic, but earlier we were talking about where to spend Xmas:
Me "Let's go to NYC."
Him "No, we spent last Xmas there."
Me "Um, no, we didn't. Last Xmas, your mom came here, the one before that we were in Chas, and three years ago we were in NYC."
Him "Oh, so it is their turn."
Woo-Hoo!! He doesn't think that parents are more important than siblings...he may not totally get our relationship but he understands and accepts how important she is to me. :) Even now we've only been apart four Xmases in 35 years...
