Jun. 28th, 2006 07:12 amI've just found out that a family member whom I'm quite fond of has just had the family cake for a BD for the first time. I'm both happy for her, sad for her attentionless past, and so angry with those whose responsibility it was to love, nurture and protect her. To not have given her the family cake is keeping her out of a tradition and tradition binds as family.
So, Public Service Announcement:
I thought you had the cake and what it means all along, kid, so for what it's worth, you've always been family to me and always will be. I love you.
