Happy Anniversary to Me!
Oct. 3rd, 2005 03:17 pmWe've been married a year and a day...I think I'll sign up for another tour.
We went to Disney World for our anniversary--made sense to use up the rest of the passes from our honeymoon--couldn't find nearly enough "baby's 1st trip" stuff but did get him his first pair of mouse ears that have Royce embroidered on the back. Will be downloading pics later today hopefully too--baby mostly just looks overstimulated in all of them. ;)
Stayed at the Dolphin--gawdawful ugly, but free thanks to a very nice anniversary present from my MIL. Also had a nice upgrade to club level, so we had breakfast and snacks every day. Spent two days at Downtown Disney playing at Disney Quest and doing some shopping (got a mug that says "mom"--cause I am one!) and two days at Epcot for the Food and Wine festival, mmmm. Le Cellier in Canada gave us a nice chocolate mousse for our anniversary, which was very thoughtful. Managed not to just eat our way around the world, but saw the Canada and the China movies--both were gorgeous.
The baby was very well-behaved and garnered lots of compliments, especially in his Superman costume at Mickey's Halloween Party.
Looking forward to going back when he's older, maybe about five...

Date: 2005-10-03 07:58 pm (UTC)Congrats, and more congrats! Both for the year and a day, and for the wanting to sign on again. Looking forward with hope was an unexpected joy in this whole gig for me.
Sounds like your Honeymoon, the Sequel was most fun. Especially with the sprog along. He may not have known what was going on all the time, but some day he'll look at the pics with almost as big a grin as we all will. (hint, hint)

Date: 2005-10-03 08:58 pm (UTC)I stayed at the Swan & Dolphin once for a conference. I think I was in the swan, though. Sounds like a lovely trip, and we will patiently await pictures!

Date: 2005-10-05 02:49 am (UTC)You didn't take mickey's fertility pills again this year. Royce would probably enjoy some only child time- just for a while.
I wanna go on the next trip! Maybe by then I'll have my own little mouse to take "around the world".
Let me know if you ever want to go to Bush Gardens- Tracy and Furmon have moved to Tampa. You'll probably not get free bkfst and snacks all day at the hotel Jordan. BUT I bet you'd get great complimentary coctails.
