Having a really good last few days with the baby and family. Went fishing on Sat--well, Acey fished, I hung out with the baby and read, and then Sun we thought the street fair was going to be rianed out, so we went to Hicksville (no, really) for lunch and some shopping. Got a very cute new sun hat, the new Harry Potter, some unmentionables, three new Cds, and of course, more stuff for the sprout. Yesterday we used the new carrier to walk down to the corner for lunch and then to the playground, and today we went to WillieBees--Royce enjoyed looking at other babies. :) He's still alseep in the carrier which is why I have a minute at the computer. Oops, make that 30 sec--he;s awake and demanding lunch...

A toddler coffee shop--wine, beer and goat cheese for parents, grilled cheese and ice cream for kids and lots of toys inside and out. An excellent place to hang out in the neighborhood to meet other parents and kids.

I'm glad to hear Royce AND you guys are getting out and about. When you get ready to go on a trip w/ babe just remember that Xander tested it out and the dogs here are down with kids (or at least put up with their presense. I can't wait to see him again- I bet he's doubled in size since I saw him last. Of course, I'd like to see you too!

I would lvoe to come see you! And we're defintely getting the hang of traveling both in our area and longer trips. If you're at all up for coming to Chas, we'll be there for Labor Day weekend, hint, hint. :)
