Last weekend was lovely--went to GA to see old friends whom I don't see nearly often enough. We ate tasty food (If you're ever in Rome, GA, I highly recommend Harvest Moon (sweet potato chips with blue cheese/bacon dip, mmmm), got pedicures and had ou eyebrows done (ouch!), hung out with the many assorted dogs, and stayed up far too late.

The drive back wasn't bad, but I forgot to eat on the trip, so abt 5pm was feeling ill. We had to stop at a couple of rest stops so I could be sick and in one of them I had a bizarre encounter with a woman from FL who was driving with her daughter to Indianna in which she started talking to me while I was in the stall throwing up abt how where I was from and where I was going, and that they were on there was to her father's funeral who'd been killed by a drunk driver the night before. So I'm trying to be sick and express my condolences at the same time. It was, um, awkward.

This week in general was pretty nice--it's lovely knowing that we have a place to live in two months. :) But the last couple of days have been a little uneven. On Weds, Acey tried to push a box into place with his head and hurt his back, so he didn't go to work yesterday but to the chiropracter that afternoon. I had the worst pain I've ever felt on my right side--felt like someone was digging around with a stick--actually made me cry in the office in front of clients and my boss--I called the Ob and she said that it sounded normal!--turns out not everyone gets pain like this, but it does happen and I should take some tylenol and a hot bath (thanks, I'll just climb in the office bathtub for a bit). It passed after about 15 min, and then my glasses fell apart (and I don't have tapeable glasses unfortunately--superglue would work, but I need to get some). So, Acey had to come pick me up from work after his appointment, which meant that he had to drop me off this morning on his way in to work, which explains why I'm here so early--got in at 650am.

But in good news, his back is much better--turns out he smushed his spine straight down so hard that he dislocated a rib--the doctor put that back in place and moved a few other things that were messed up and he's feeling so much better today. Oh, and we fooled the baby into thinking that my quesadilla was a grilled cheese sandwich so I had Mexican for the first time in two months! Yay!

Ow! I'm glad the chiropractor helped. Phew.

Maybe that was a sympathy pain you were having? Only fair, given the sharing and caring that is pregnancy. Ha ha.

And now I'm hungry. blue cheese/bacon dip. Mmmmmm.
