Hello, and welcome to moviephone

Wow. Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow just may be the coolest movie I've ever seen. It's an amazing rensition of a 30s/40s pulp sci-fi novel--an intrepid girl reporter and a ace secret agent pilot face off against robot monsters and a super-secret diabolical plot. I can't burble about it too much because I don't want to spoil any of the surprises, but I was clapping in delight at points and plan on buying it as soon as it comes out on DVD. (Oh, and they use the Empire State building for what it was intended...)
