that I'm beyond tears. Just sitting at my desk trying to process all the bits that have gone wrong and if there's any way to fix them. Going back to bed would be a good start. And yes, I realize many of my friends are dealing with much worse stuff--I'm just a bit overwhelmed.

1. My tire is flat. Drove to two gas stations before work but could not find a working air pump so now tire is _really_ flat. Cannot change it myself, am not comfortable asking people I work with for help, no idea what to do. No idea how much it will cost for possible towing and new tire. This would not be a good day to go into labor.

2. There is a problem with my HSA account, which the service person did not explain on Mon when I called them. Now I have to send them two checks by mail in order to process the deposit for this year. Unfortunately, my check book is at home so I can't mail them until tomorrow, I'm not sure how long it'll take to process and the hospital wants payment in advance for the baby's birth.

3. Apple is screwing me. A few months ago, my laptop got an infestation of bugs (literally). I didn't know but when I took it in to be fixed, the repair depot sent to back as a biohazard. The local store gave me the name of a place to have it professionally cleaned, which I did ($150), and said I could have it fixed after I took care of that. I brought it back in last Tues and just called for an update--the depot is refusing to fix it again and mailing it back, again as a biohazard. I've asked to manager to please make sure that someone actually opened the damn thing and didn't just see the previous history in the system and send it back. He swears they wouldn't so that but has promised to call and check. If I want all the pics and such off of it, I'll have to pay to have it repaired somewhere, but I can't afford to replace the logic board, etc, and it will make going to class (online) very difficult. Classes start tonight and I have a $1300 paperweight.

4. Acey threw his shoulder out--he has a rotator cuff problem that has been in abeyance for the last year or so but today came back with a vengeance. He's the only person in the barn for the winter, so he can't take off sick and since we have no money in the HSA account (see #1) we've got to figure out how to get him to the doctor/chiropracter.

5. We owe the IRS $6500. Oops. They will be taking our refund for this year (which was going to pay off the car and free up a big chunk of money from the monthly budget) and we'll have to pay them monthly until we're clear. So not only will we not have a less tight budget with no car payment, but we're adding another monthly payment.

6. This one isn't a big deal but we had free cable until this week when we moved the tv and snapped the cable attachment out of the back. Now we have no tv and no laptop. At least we still have netflix, right?

Hmm. I thought I might feel better after writing it all out, but that didn't really work. I guess I just need to go try to deal with what I can. Call the chiro, call the hospital, etc...

Oh dear. (((Hugs)))

1. Talk to the mens, they own air compressors and such. Or at least will have engineering advice...

As for the rest, I need you to keep the kid in for 2 more weeks anyway to suit my schedule. So there's that problem solved. ;)
