I think I might have to resort to a bulleted list, although the last couple of months have really just been about gestating and studying. :)
  • Well, I'm still pregnant, lol. No baby yet. Of course, I was only 35 weeks yesterday. My mom is convinced I'm having this baby any day now, but I think it'll be at least Xmas and probably not until my scheduled c-section date. Yep, I've got one of those, darn it--so much for my all natural VBAC--but unless he decides to wiggle around some, I've got no choice. He's still up in there sideways (very unusual--less than 1% chance) and although many people keep telling me he could turn at any minute, it's unlikely, given his lack of flipping around for the last three or so months. But he's got a good heartbeat and a good size, so things are fine--I've just got a firmer due date than most. :) Jan 6th. And if I go into labor before then, they'll go ahead and do the section then. (Labor runs a much higher risk of uterine rupture w/ a transverse baby.)
  • I was hoping to have him before the new year, to avoid another deductible and to give myself time before next semester starts, but instead it looks like I'll have the first class of the semester and then have the baby, lol. Thank goodness it's online.
  • My shower is Sunday and I'm so excited! I had a shower, sortof, for Royce but it didn't really go very well, and I'm a big sucker for that kind of tradition and was really disappointed, so I'm thrilled to be getting another one, even though it's my second baby.
  • Less than two weeks of work before we close for a week and a half for the holidays, yay!
  • I turned in a 15 page paper for one class on Monday and take an open book final for the other class this week, and then I'm finished for the semester, yay! Should be getting an A in one and a B in the other. (Could get an A in the other, but I'd have to make an almost perfect score on the paper for that to happen--I'll be happy with a B though.)
  • Classes next semester may be rough though---lots and lots of research, although I honestly enjoyed the research this semester--I thought I was bad at it, but maybe I just never enjoyed the topics before? We'll see.
  • Spent some time last weekend putting up the tree and other decorations (although not the Xmas train, shhhh). Royce is thrilled. All of the out of town shopping is finished and mail (well, waiting for one present to get here so I can mail it off), and just have a few in town presents to buy---Acey's and my parents, and Royce. I know what we're getting his dad and his dad's wife, and I've got a few ideas for my mom, but his mom is always a problem. She doesn't really have any hobbies, other than work, and enough money that she buys herself whatever she wants. V. hard to find good gifts for.
  • Only a few things left to do in the house/get for the newbie before he's evicted, which is nice. We've been working our way down a huge list of things to do, so we'd be ready. The biggest one left now is washing all the baby stuff--that's going to take a while--tempting to take it to a laundry mat so we can do all the loads at once and get it over with. Oh, speaking of, if anyone knows a way to wash those big foam mattress pads, I love some suggestions. :)
  • Hmm, I guess that's about all I can think of right now--we should get getting our laptop back soon, so I can actually log in from home and update at my leisure soon. Yay, laptop!
