The thing about roadkill is that you know it doesn't have lead bullets in it. Also, if you get it right when it's been killed, what could be wrong with it? Road kill that's sat by the side of the road for three days, now, I'd avoid that.

Yep. That's why I didn't cross it off as a never. If we or a friend, say, ran into a deer or something, we'd eat it, not just leave it out there.
