Today seems like a bullet point kind of day.

• Plane tickets have been purchased. My mom for the win. She suggested I try other airports which I usually do but had flaked on this time. $360 round trip, Savannah to Birmingham. I am taking both Fri and Mon off--not much choice abt Mon but Fri will make things more relaxed. Also, I don't have to rent a car or pay for the shuttle ($200!) as there's a seat in a rental car with two other women getting into BMH around the same time. And I'll be in in time to go to the "informal get together" Fri evening.

• Laptop has been re-retrieved from the apple store and seems fine and um, debugged. R is loving having his itunes shows back.
  

• We are almost through season 2.5 of BSG--I think just the 2 part finale left to watch tonight and then season 3 will be on its way from netflix. The only problem with watching a show all at once is that I'm getting a bit sick of it but I'm too entranced to want to get anything else. We're either doing Witchblade or finishing Season whatever of How I Met Your Mother next.

• I managed to get bins from Lowes last weekend and have packed up 3/4 of R's toys. So much easier for him to play with what's out and put it away properly. Next step is to rearrange his room and ours to make use of the freed up space and shelving. I think we're going to move some of the random crap off the shelving in our room into the back shelving of his where the extra blankets and stuff are and move a set of tall shelves into our room for the newbies stuff.

• Nesting? I don't know what you're talking about. (to quote simonm) Have a list of stuff I want for the newbie and am keeping a look out. Found the playpen we wanted with R but couldn't find at the thrift store this weekend. A pointed out that we have one already. *sigh* We could sell that one though. :) I just would like some more understated stuff this time and that green toile would go nicely in our living room. And it has a changer which ours doesn't. *rationalizing underway*

• I somehow didn't connect alexanderjasper's BD with newbies BD until yesterday. Awww. Two January BDs, three if you count Thomas. One cousin from each sister.

• I have my first prenantal yoga class tomorrow (had to be 16 weeks) and my first meeting with my hopefully new doula afterwards. I like her website and the conversations we've had in email--hopefully we'll like each other in person. I'm not nearly as scared as A is about doing this again. I mean, I might want another (much lighter) epidural but I have made it through labor and pushing before and it sucked but I've done it once and I can do it again. This time I'll check to see which was the baby's turned before getting started. *ow, back labor*

• No big plans today--get through work, go home, put away laundry, watch some tv, have leftovers, go to bed early. *smile*

Heh. Yep, but I think only passing through--I get into the airport at 1248pm on Friday and then drive out at 2pm to go to Tuscaloosa for the MLIS program orientation. Mon our program is over at 4pm and my flight leaves BMH at 7pm...I wish I had more time cause we could totally do lunch. :)
