Man, the work drama never ends this week.

My boss forgot to leave my paycheck and he's out of the office until Mon. In all likelihood, he'll make the trip down here tomorrow to give me one, but I would really like to have been able to make a deposit today and also know that I was getting paid before the weekend. Also, somewhat irritatingly, the other two people in the office have both separately asked if I couldn't make it until Monday as the boss is off tomorrow. Um. Well. We won't starve. But the pantry is bare and the bank is overdrawn. So money would be nice. Plus we have plans for the weekend that would be moot without a check at least by tomorrow.

Edited: Just got off the phone with him and as predicted, he'll come by in the morning. But seriously, don't ask the lowest paid person here if she can get a check almost a week late.

Unless those other two people were either of them willing to make you a loan to tide you over, neither of them had any business asking you if you could make it until Monday. The NERVE!

Yeah, I was pretty irritated about that. They're an odd bunch.
