News, cerebral and physical

I have two exciting pieces of news. First, I got into graduate school--a hearty thank you for listening to me decide what I wanted to do and where to go--I'm a member of the 2008 online cohort at the University of Alabama, which, while not one of the top 10 library schools, is ALA accredited and perfect for what I need. I also got a large loan which will take are of more than tuition.  So, yay!

Second, I got an amazing and completely unexpected mother's day present yesterday. I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. I'm pregnant! Some of you know that it's been a long and emotional struggle, so we're doubly happy. It's v. early, so I considered not posting about his yet, but y'all know I can't keep all the bouncing to myself, so I decided to go ahead and we'll just see what happens. :)
